Sony and Quantic Dream made an expected trip to the Tribeca Film Festival yesterday where they showed off one of the year’s most anticipated titles, BEYOND: Two Souls. Although many find it odd that a video game trailer was shown off at a film festival, Quantic Dream has always been excellent at displaying video games as true art comparable to movies. As expected, the trailer was well received and, quite frankly, blew us away. Shortly before visiting the festival, Sony released the final cover art for the game as well. It’s probably one of the best covers we’ve seen to date.
BEYOND: Two Souls features the excellent voice acting chops of Willem Dafoe and Ellen Page. So, it should come as no surprise that this game is going to pull at your heartstrings and perhaps make you look at video games in an entirely different way. If you haven’t already, check out our gorgeous screens of BEYOND: Two Souls and then watch the trailer below.
Drugs. Alcohol. Violence. Debauchery. I have taken part in none of these things. Sadly, one day I saw something secretive being developed by a major studio that I probably shouldn't have seen. They've been trying to silence me ever since. Now, I'm here with the lot of you. Hiding. Staying safe inside the box that I call home. One day I'll fight back. Until then, I'll deliver news to you guys.
