Irrational Games finally lifted the curtain on its DLC plans for BioShock Infinite, all of which is included with the game’s Season Pass. Rather suprisingly, the first bit of content will be available later today.
This first DLC is titled Clash in the Clouds, which will be purely combat-focused. A set of four different maps — which will run you $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points — it harkens back to the grueling 1999 Mode present in the original game. That sentence is probably plenty for you to make up your mind either way, but if not check out the trailer embedded above.
Most are probably looking forward to narrative-driven DLC, though, and that’s where the Burial at Sea content comes in. It will be two parts, with players taking Booker and Elizabeth back down to Rapture before it all fell apart in a crime noir wrapper. The first episode will have Booker playable, and the second will put players in Elizabeth’s shoes. The Burial at Sea content still doesn’t have a firm date, but both episodes will cost you $15 each. You can view the trailer for it below.
I can go either way with the challenge room DLC, but a noir story told in Rapture? Sign me up twice.
