It has been a long, successful run for Borderlands 2. Take-Two Interactive claims it is the best selling game on the 2K Games roster, having sold over 8.5 million copies since it released in September of 2012. Now, after a long string of popular DLC releases, Borderlands 2 is getting its last two pieces of content.
Gearbox has announced that Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre is coming next week on February 11th. In this latest Headhunter pack, players revisit the feud between the Hodunk and Zaford families, last seen in the Clan Wars mission. A Goliath from each family is about to be married, and it is up to Mad Moxxi and the Vault Hunters to gather the ingredients for a love potion that will ensure everything goes smoothly. Like all Headhunter packs released for Borderlands 2, this DLC is priced at $2.99 and includes a unique head and skin for defeating the DLC’s boss.
In addition, Gearbox announced that the fifth and final Headhunter pack, Sir Hammerlock and the Son of Crawmerax, releases in April. Son of Crawmerax marks the final DLC release for Borderlands 2.
Borderlands 2 is currently available for the PlayStation 3 and is set to release on the PlayStation Vita sometime in the future.
