At Sony’s E3 press conference last night, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XV, formerly Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Kingdom Hearts III would be coming to the PlayStation 4. At today’s Final Fantasy spotlight event, the company confirmed that the two games would be making their way to Microsoft’s Xbox One as well.
Final Fantasy XV was originally announced in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and it was also a PlayStation 3 exclusive at the time. After a prolonged absence, a trailer revealed that it has been reworked as a next-generation title. Kingdom Hearts, meanwhile, has never before appeared on an Xbox platform.
