According to job listings dug up by CVG, Sony’s Santa Monica Studio have hired a new Level Designer and Senior Combat Designer to work on an unannounced project. We say “hired” because the jobs listed seem to have been filled or are otherwise unavailable.
CVG didn’t link the level designer listing, and further digging on our end was unfruitful. However, the combat design gig has some interesting qualifications. “Experience working with, developing or designing for a 1st and/or 3rd person shooter genre a plus,” states the listing, and the same goes for “working with, developing or designing vehicle combat.”
Santa Monica Studio is already confirmed to be working with indie developer Honeyslug to bring Hohokum to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. With an ominous E3 Tweet yesterday, though, it seems that they might have something else up their sleeves.
