Hello everyone! I’m subbing in for Dave this week as he is busy keeping the gears turning behind the scenes. The Official PlayStation Blog has put out all the details about the latest and greatest available on the PlayStation Network Store, so why don’t we jump in and take a look?

There is only one full PlayStation 3 game release this week, and that is NBA 2K14. The latest entry in the massively popular NBA 2K series is certain to be another high quality experience for all NBA fans. If you feel like doing your best Lebron impersonation, pick it up for $59.99 now.

There are a handful of new downloadable titles this week as well, starting off with Rain. This story of an invisible boy saving an invisible girl from invisible monsters using only the rain as guidance is a peculiar but interesting looking title (See the gameplay trailer here). Grab it for $14.99 Next is Flashback, a relaunch of a 20 year old classic. The original team is back and have re-imagined their old title with new technology while retaining that classic 90’s side-scrolling flavor. It can be your’s for $9.99, or $7.99 for PS Plus members.

Next, we have Pro Foosball, which is exactly what it sounds like. If you are interested in some hard hitting foosball fun, this budget title can be snagged for $6.49. The PS3 contingent for this week is rounded out by Skydive: Proximity Flight. In this new take on flight sims, players get to enjoy the action of wingsuit flying without the “fun” of jumping out of a plane. Learn tricks and feel the freedom of flying through the air in the safety of your living room for $19.99.

The Vita only gets a little love with two titles this week. First, we have Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland. This portable version of the PS3 game will feature all the fun of the original game, as well as all maps and characters that were availble in the PS3 version as DLC and brand new content. This RPG can be picked up for $39.99. Then we have the charmingly titled Die! Die! Die!. Triple D! let’s players use their Vita to go inside the human body and fight microbes quickly and tactically. With a price of $4.99, something so unique may be worth trying out.

That’s it for this week’s new releases, but make sure to go check out the Official PlayStation Blog for a heaping helping of DLC, bundle deals, and the PlayStation Plus selection of the week (Kingdoms of Amalur!!!). Until next week everyone!
