Almost three years ago and XCOM first-person shooter was announced and then we didn’t hear anything more about it for awhile. Today, in the early morning, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified was revealed in a live action trailer that proved the game was not only still very much alive, but that it is coming on August 20th as well. Furthermore, the first-person perspective has been recycled in favor of a third-person perspective instead.
Gamers will play as Special Agent William Carter and you are responsible for bringing customizable squad mates into squad-based tactical battles to fight the alien invaders. Just like in XCOM: Enemy Unknown, deaths will be permanent and certain characters will also be in TD:XD that were in Enemy Unknown.
Drugs. Alcohol. Violence. Debauchery. I have taken part in none of these things. Sadly, one day I saw something secretive being developed by a major studio that I probably shouldn't have seen. They've been trying to silence me ever since. Now, I'm here with the lot of you. Hiding. Staying safe inside the box that I call home. One day I'll fight back. Until then, I'll deliver news to you guys.
