This morning’s Nintendo Direct presentation featured a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, which revealed that the remastered GameCube classic will release in October 2013.
The trailer showed off some new features that will make their way to the Wii U version as well. You’ll no longer have to spend what feels like ages sailing the open seas, as you’ll now be able to speed up those parts of the game if you so choose. A new item called the Tingle Bottle will also allow you to post messages on Miiverse, which will appear in other players’ games as bottles that can be picked up.
The game also looks stunning in HD, which you probably gathered from the trailer embedded above. Who else is excited for this?
